Bathrooms, utility rooms and toilets are the most exposed to moisture in a home, so it's important to get the moisture out of these rooms and into the open air. It's important to get the moisture out as moisture provides good living conditions for dust mites and mould, which in the worst case can cause allergies.
Therefore, we have developed a special DUKA One model intended for the home’s wet rooms. When the bathroom (or other wet rooms) is not in use, the DUKA One unit provides basic ventilation with heat recovery. The unit has a built-in humidity sensor, and when it is activated, the unit switches to boost mode with pure exhaust operation at level III. This is important, as moisture from the bathroom must not be transferred to adjacent rooms. When the humidity level drops below the set threshold, the unit switches back to basic ventilation with heat recovery.
DUKA Ventilation recommends:
the unit switches to boost mode with exhaust operation at level II, minimizing odors from toilet use.
the unit will switch to forced operation with extraction on stage II to minimise air pollution from toilet visits.

DUKA One is installed directly in the external wall, providing easy installation without ductwork throughout the home.
DUKA One ensures a good indoor climate around the clock
DUKA One must operate continuously to create a healthy indoor climate.
For 70 seconds, the unit extracts air, during which heat from the exhaust air is stored in the unit’s ceramic core.
The unit’s motor then reverses, and for 70 seconds fresh outdoor air is supplied to the home, where it is heated as it passes through the ceramic core.
The unit then switches back to exhaust mode and continues the heat recovery cycle.
DUKA One Pro 25 B has a pipe diameter of 100 mm, making the unit ideal for bringing up a Ø105 mm or 150 x 150 mm fresh air valve for a heat recovery solution. The core of the DUKA One Pro 25 B is 165 mm, making this unit ideal for holiday homes where the walls are thinner
than in year-round homes.
