Please test the following:

  1. Switch off the power (Power MUST be switched off during installation of the fan and humidity control)
  2. Set the humidity control to MAX = approx. 90% humidity. If the humidity setting is set too low, e.g. to 50%, the fan will run constantly.
  3. Switch the power back on

The fan will glow red when activated on timer or humidity and the motor will start running.

The motor should switch off again along with this light, as the fan is no longer affected by a controller.

Please test the following:

Experiment 1:

  1. Take off the front
  2. Open the black rubber cover on the right side of the PCB.
  3. Tilt all 4 to 8 dip buttons back and forth a few times.
  4. Make sure all buttons are all the way over to the right side.
  5. Switch the power off and on.

Experiment 2: (Only if you have 2 similar models/devices)

  1. Take off the front
  2. Unplug the green connector for the motor and pull the motor out of the tube.
  3. Swap the motor with one from your other device.
  4. See if the problem follows the motor or stays with the electronics on the wall.

Watch this video if the alarm button on your DUKA One device lights up or flashes.
