Efficient and energy-conscious lightweight residential ventilation solution
Ventilation unit with heat recovery for use in all types of homes, providing a good indoor climate with fresh air. The unit is for ceiling installation.
The unit delivers a free airflow of 130 m3/h and 43-97 m3/h at 70 Pa and can be used in homes up to 90 m3/h.
The unit has a by-pass damper that provides a cooling effect in summer, as the exhaust air is bypassed by the counterflow exchanger and the supply air is not further heated.
The device is additionally supplied with:
- Control panel
- Lightweight enclosure
- Including G4 filters
- With low-energy EC motor.
- Heat recovery rate up to 94%.
- Complies with the requirements of applicable building regulations.
VillaVent 90 L with heat recovery
The unit has a polystyrene counterflow exchanger that transfers heat from the exhaust air to the supply air. This ensures that the supply air reaches a comfortable temperature and provides fresh air throughout the home.
The enclosure of the unit is made of expanded poly propylene (EPP), which offers a wide range of benefits. EPP is a lightweight material and units weigh only 8kg, making installation much easier as the unit is more manageable than a unit in a metal cabinet.
In addition, EPP absorbs energy, making it very durable and resistant to impact. It is also highly sound-absorbing and has good thermal insulation properties, resulting in a unit with better sound attenuation and thermal insulation.
Control panel
DUKA VillaVent comes with a control panel for easy operation of the unit. On the control panel you can choose between three ventilation speeds, see filter alarm, other alarms and activation of bypass.

A home with fresh, well-ventilated air around the clock
Many buildings today are so well insulated and sealed that they can't breathe. This comes at a price in the form of indoor climate problems caused by humid and polluted air. People spend an average of 90% of the day indoors - that's over 20 hours - so it's incredibly important to ensure a good indoor climate, which you can do with a Villa Ventilation unit from DUKA.
Sizing of aggregates
There are two requirements in the building regulations for dimensioning a ventilation unit;
The 1st requirement depends on the size of the home, with a minimum requirement of 0.3 l/s per square metre of living space.
2nd requirement depends on the number of wet rooms in the home.
The value that is greater according to the two calculations above is the min. ventilation requirement.
Capacity and heat recovery rate (VGV) according to BR 18 requirements and 70 Pa in system back pressure.
Units | Connection | Capacity | Heat recovery rate | Area | Capacity free blowing |
VillaVent 90 L | Ø100 / Ø125 mm | 28 l/s | 82-94 % | 90 square metres | 130 l/s |
Genin 90 L | Ø100 / Ø125 mm | 28 l/s | 73-88 % | 90 square metres | 130 l/s |
Power Pack 380 Wi-Fi | Ø160 mm | 60 l/s | 87% | 200 square metres | 105 l/s |
Power Pack 200 Top Wi-Fi | Ø125 mm | 44 l/s | 86 % | 130 square metres | 55 l/s |
Power Pack 450 Top Wi-Fi | Ø160 mm | 78 l/s | 86% | 260 square metres | 125 l/s |
Power Pack 690 Top Wi-Fi | Ø200 mm | 120 l/s | 86 % | 380 square metres | 191 l/s |
Wet room minimum requirements
Rum | Air volume |
Kitchen facilities | 20 l/s |
Bathroom | 15 l/s |
Utility room | 10 l/s |
Separate WC | 10 l/s |
For example, a 170 square metre home with a kitchen, utility room and two bathrooms:
1st requirement according to dwelling size: 51 l/s (170 * 0.3)
2nd wet room requirement: 60 l/s (20+10+15+15)
This is where the wet room requirement is greatest. This means that this dwelling must have a ventilation unit with a capacity of min. 60 l/s.
Specific space requirements can be found in building regulations.
