Recycle both the heat and moisture in your exhaust air

With an enthalpy diffuser, you can recycle both the heat and moisture in your exhaust air. The moisture transfer provides more comfortable supply air in both the cold and warm months.

During the cold months, both moisture and heat from the exhaust air will be transferred to the supply air through the enthalpy membranes, reducing heat loss. The air will feel less dry when moisture is transferred, and it also reduces the risk of cracks in the home's woodwork such as furniture and floors.

During the warmer months, the relative humidity is lowered as moisture is prevented from blowing into the enthalpy hood. This increases the comfort of the supply air as the air feels drier, which is more comfortable than hot humid air.

In units with an enthalpy cover, the drain can be completely blanked off and does not require a water trap or condensate drain, as the moisture is transferred and no condensation occurs in the unit. Furthermore, the risk of frozen hoses and pipes and leakage from the unit is eliminated.
