Which monitor should I choose?
When choosing between a Comfort monitor (monitor on the left) and a 360 degree monitor (monitor on the right), there are several important factors to consider. Both monitors have their advantages and the choice depends on the specific needs, preferences and placement of the device in the situation.
The choice between a Comfort screen and a 360-degree screen therefore depends on which needs are most important in the specific situation. If you want to avoid cold draughts over seating and sleeping areas, the Comfort screen may be the best choice. But if you prioritise a higher and more efficient air exchange with the option to place it close to the ceiling, the 360-degree screen may be the best solution.
Why choose the comfort screen?
The comfort screen offers some unique advantages, especially when it comes to placement above seating and sleeping areas. One of the big advantages is that there is no cold draught under the screen. This means it can be placed on the wall above seating areas without draughts being felt by those sitting or lying under it. This type of screen is ideal for creating a comfortable and cosy atmosphere in the room as the outside air is directed upwards as it enters.
Why choose the 360 degree monitor?
On the other hand, the 360-degree screen has some other attractive features. One of the biggest advantages of this screen is a higher and more efficient airflow. It is able to suck air in from all directions and blow it out again in all directions. This creates a more efficient circulation and ventilation of the air in the room, which can contribute to a fresher and healthier indoor climate. In addition, the 360-degree screen can be placed closer to the ceiling as it still has free airways to the other sides. This can be especially beneficial if your basement is not very far above ground level and you need to place the unit high on the wall.
